Our Planet
Being based on the rugged coastline of Cornwall in Bude we have an abundance of nature right on our doorstep. With a common background in farming running throughout the team, our people love nothing more than being in the great outdoors. For us that means playing our part in helping the planet. We keep bees, we clean our beaches and we plant trees.

Carbon offset projects
Sustainable Roots Day
On Monday 10th February 2025, the team donned their wellies and spades and took to a field in Bude to plant 250 trees including:

-
Elder (Sambucus Nigra)
-
Common Alder (Alnus Glutinosa)
-
Silver Birch (Betula Pendula)
-
Downy Birch (Betula Pubescens)
-
Hawthorn (Crataegus Monogyna)
-
Lime (Tilia Cordata)

We purposefully selected these varieties for their carbon absorption properties. We estimate that once fully grown these trees will absorb approximately 8,750 kg or 8.75 tonnes of CO2 per year which is half of our 2024 /2025 business CO2 emissions.
